The Bosses Attend Training Too!
At the beginning of the week, myself (Jodie) and Craig, travelled a few hours to attend Warrens Removals Academy. (I know Craigs the official boss, but I’m the wife, so we all know who’s the real boss 😅)
What we did!
We Travelled from Burnley to a Village called Inkberrow, in Worcestershire, where Warrens Removals is based. We found a lovely little country Inn, in a little village close by to stay.
We attended a course over 2 days, that has given us enough knowledge and valuable information to help us grow further.
To see how a company, who started out like us a few years ago, with just a couple of men and a Van, that has gone from the same size of what Craig Atkinson Removals is now, only a couple of years ago, transform into the size they are at now, is nothing short of inspiring! And we definitely want to bring one at the same level to Burnley and we WILL get there!
What did we learn?
They went through many modules with us, some of which we already knew and implement ourselves, and Craig has already created a great Brand within Burnley, Blackburn, Clitheroe and further surrounding areas. We were even praised on it!
What we did learn is how to implement certain systems and processes, some of which we are already starting to put in place, ready for when we need them as the company continues to grow! I in particular, took much value from a lovely girl named Esther, who showed us how they track pretty much everything! And she was extremely helpful in showing me how to use the same processes.
The course has confirmed to Craig that everything we are doing in terms of the business is on the right track and was also great to see that other company’s also come across many of the same problems we do in the removals industry! Sometimes is just good to have things confirmed that we ARE doing it right!
We took many valuable golden nuggets of information away with us that will benefit our customers, ourselves, and our staff! And we can’t wait to see what impact these have on our business in the future!
We are already a well recommended Removals company in the Burnley area, and we are always looking for new ways to make our service even better!
