May Updates
I haven’t posted an update since February!
If you did read the last update, you will remember me saying how quiet we were! (if you didn’t, all our updates are posted on our website 😊)
That has most definitely changed! This month we can’t keep up! And yet again, on the lookout for another member of staff! Both me and Craig are even venturing out of the office to keep up with demand! Which we have tried so hard not to do since getting the unit, so we can ensure all you lovely people receive the best customer service possible! However, even with working outside the office, we intend not to drop our service level, as our office work is portable, and between us, we can keep up with your enquiries 😊.
Since visiting Warrens Academy back in January, we have come a long way, with all the systems and processes now in place that we were shown, and it has made a difference to the company as a whole.
Storage.
Our storage is unit in Burnley is growing nicely, with more storage crates bought, and customers filling them as quickly as we get them.
Personal Updates.
I (Jodie) have started yet another course for self-development, this time it’s a business admin course 😊.
Craig is doing 2 courses himself to help towards growing the business even further!
You may have remember seeing us put Corey through his driving test almost a year ago- which he passed with flying colours! – He is now very close to being able to finally drive our vans! (Insurance restrictions prevented this happening sooner 😞) Which means we will have capacity for your moves!
I would like to give a big shout out to our team!
They have been patient through the hard times and exceeding our expectations in the busy period! Out working 5-6 days a week, and last week was a particularly long and hard week, with a 3 day move from Rossendale to Peterborough, A more local large move in Clitheroe, and pack and move at the end of the week. And a few smaller moves in between! Many more moves booked for the rest of the month too 😊
Our Team has been rewarded with a few alcoholic beverages, as a thank you from us to them, for all their hard work, and the fact that in the last 6 Months, they have only had 1 small damage (a small piece of glass in a cabinet door), which Kev, without prompt, took to it Preston and had it repaired himself. He then took it back to the customer and fitted the door back onto cabinet for them 😊.
All in all, I think we are very lucky to have to the team we have, they all have a great work ethic and great personalities, we only ever receive good feedback from our customers about them.
