We are fast approaching the end of the first month of 2022 and we have been very productive with our time.
Noted in our last blog at the beginning of January we said we would be implementing some small new tweaks to the business which have so far been a glowing success ! One thing we wanted to improve on was our systems and replies when people enquired with us, we simply were not efficient enough. Slow replies, or when we did reply sometimes the value was not there. Offering value is at the core of any business and we understood this was not apparent in many areas of our business.
In terms of the trucks out this month, they have not been overly stretched but they have been working throughout January.
We have assisted in 4 completion day moves, 8 rentals, 12 single item deliveries and 2 office relocations. With 3 more completions due this next week and one more office relocation in bury town centre.
One of the office removals we undertook this month was for a repeat client, who is slowly moving all their offices into something more suitable.
They chose us for many reasons. But mostly because we carry through on our promises.
The large company based in Burnley contacted us at the beginning of the month to ask availability, we then delivered boxes prior and booked them in.
From there we arrange the time of arrival on the day of moving, and our team then proceed into the office. 3rd floor and 750 square feet of desks and archive boxes !
Trolleys at the ready, screwdriver prepped, we start ! All desks dismantled to a size that can fit in the lift and most suitable for transport. Boxes ferried down the stairs and the vans all loaded within 3 hours of arriving.
Onto the new office (via a sandwich shop of course) we then unload and place everything in desired locations within the offices and proceed to assemble anything that we have taken down i.e desks ready for the staff to come straight back to work the day after with no down time at all.
Walkways left clear for obvious reasons, we can then wrap things up and start to load the van back up with all our protective equipment, trollies and any excess wrapping and boxes.
Team leader then goes back in, makes sure everything is ok and we are then our our way !
Mission complete and time to focus on the next day.
