A Crazy 3 Months: What a Rollercoaster Ride!
Well, well, well, what a whirlwind it’s been!
The past three months have been nothing short of a frenzy for us in the moving industry. Estate agents, solicitors, and, of course, us movers have all been riding the same crazy wave. It’s been non-stop, jam-packed, and absolutely manic—and we’ve loved every second of it!
Record-Breaking Months!
Each month has outdone the last, with record-breaking numbers across the board. It feels like we’ve been hitting new highs every single time we turn around. The phones are ringing off the hook, emails flooding in, and the requests for moving dates are off the charts. It’s a good problem to have, right? But phew—it’s been a bit of a juggle.
And let’s not forget the stamp duty changes, which have really kicked things up a notch. With the stamp duty holiday ending soon, the race to get moves locked in has been real. People are motivated and ready to make their moves before that deadline hits, which means… we’re all absolutely flat out.
Saying No (But Also Saying Yes to April)
Now, as much as we’d love to help everyone, there have been so many moments where we’ve had to say “no” due to the sheer volume of work. It’s honestly frustrating, but we’ve had to be realistic. We’re a team of humans (with some serious muscle), and we can only do so much in a day. But fear not, April is looking strong! We’ve got the team in place and are ready to smash it. 16 families moving next week? Bring it on!
The Special Appearance of Spam (Yes, You Heard That Right!)
And just when we thought we had seen it all, guess what happened? We had a special appearance from Spam! No, not the email kind—the food kind. We had an unexpected lunch break where Spam joined the crew for a much-needed refuel before tackling a two-day move to Cornwall. Talk about a “move” to remember! (See what I did there?)
The Cornwall move was one for the books—gorgeous coastal views, a ton of boxes, and an amazing crew working together to make it all happen. It’s moves like these that remind us of the incredible journey every family takes when they make a new house their home.
Looking Ahead: More Moves, More Chaos, More Fun!
As we close out one crazy chapter, we’re already gearing up for the next. The end of the stamp duty holiday means more people will be moving, and we’re ready to make it happen—come rain or shine, we’ve got this!
